Recorded on the most part by Lucie at her home studio in a little cottage on Australia s far south coast, 'Where Night Birds Call' is a stirringly assured collection from this fine songsmith who is without question really hitting her stride.

Moving through Lucie s distinctive heart-of-winter folks songs, to rugged, spacious rock n roll, 'Where Night Birds Call' delivers a richness of breadth and feeling that encapsulates a remarkable songwriting personality, while resonating with the gentle deliberator in us all.

Alongside the intricate, beautifully developed two-guitar arrangements that have become a signature sound from Lucie and long-time collaborator Heath Cullen, they will be expanding the show for this launch tour - joined by drums and bass - to present this stunning new collection with that dark, compelling intimacy and warmth for which their live performances have become so renowned.
