
Lior's sound is a rootsy mix of styles that always harks back to the lyric and melody. With Middle Eastern heritage, Lior also keeps the music of his bloodline close to the surface. It is Lior's voice that has drawn most attention, capable of both power and tenderness, always delivered with soul in its truest sense.
In early 2005, Lior released his critically acclaimed debut album Autumn Flow. The album was featured as album of the week on Triple J, and the opening track This Old Love was voted onto Triple J's Hottest 100. The Ministry Of Sound also included This Old Love and Lior's second Single Daniel on their Chillout Session releases.
Autumn Flow went on to be nominated for 'Australian Album of the Year' by Triple J as part of the J Awards, & was nominated for 3 ARIA Awards late 2005. The album was one of the year's most successful independent releases, and Lior has since become one of the few Australian independent artists to have a debut Gold Album.
Since the release of Autumn Flow, Lior has spent the majority of his time touring nationally. He has crafted a live show that has him regularly touted as one of Australia's finest new talents.
